Joseph Jason Namakaeha Momoa is an actor, writer, film producer, director and model. After a build up of appearances in shows such as North Shore, Johnson Family Vacation, and Stargate: Atlantis, as well as four episodes of the comedy-drama television series The Game, he broke through as a leading character in his portrayal the title protagonist in Conan the Barbarian in 2011.

Momoa also gained fame for his role of Khal Drogo on HBO's Game of Thrones. He was also cast as Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe films beginning with the 2016 superhero film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, followed by the 2017 ensemble Justice League and his 2018 solo film Aquaman.
